Very close to la Rambla del Poblenou, this restaurant offers a vegetarian brunch prepared mostly with ecological products. The nice decoration offers a space for interesting exhibitions.

Vegetarian brunch in Poblenou - Aguaribay There are a few vegetarian restaurants in Barcelona, Aguaribay is one of them offering also a vegetarian brunch. They use fresh seasonal products and biological eggs and milk, as well as biological vegetables and cereals. The price for the brunch is 12€ and includes a combination plate, smoothie and a coffee or tea. You can decide to have •crumbled eggs or •tempeh* with vegetables both served with veggie toast, or a •mini quiche served with salad. To complete your combination plate you can choose between tomatoes confit, potatoes with sage or garlic mushrooms.

The smoothie was made with pear, cinnamon and soymilk, interesting option for vegans too. They have many different types of tea and herbal tea, all of them ecological. This restaurant offers a good quality-price relation. The place is pretty big and with a nice decoration. The music in the background accompanies the conversation while you are served by a very friendly staff. The restrooms are big and clean, with soap and paper.

The name Aguaribay sounds very interesting for a restaurant, is the name of a pepper tree and if you like to have more information about it, they explain more in their web page

*It’s a soyfood made by controlled fermentation of cooked soybeans.
