Instructions
- 1. Whisk together in a large bowl the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
- 2. In a separate bowl whisk together for a couple of minutes the egg and the milk
- 3. Add the melted butter and keep whisking for a few minutes
- 4. Pour dry ingredients in the eggs and whisk until just moistened
- 5. Leave to stand for about 15 minutes and stir again before using
- 6. Heat some butter on a non-stick pan and carefully rub it with paper towel
- 7. With a ladle pour dough onto pan, and use the back of the ladle to spread batter into a round
- 8. Cook until the surface of the pancake has bubbles and a few have burst, 1 to 2 minutes
- 9. Flip carefully with a thin spatula, and cook until browned on the underside, 1 to 2 minutes more
- 10. Serve warm, with desired toppings
