Summary:

We have finally found a place for brunch in the Eixample dreta of Barcelona. Like a breath of fresh air this new place offers a healthy brunch and it is easy on the wallet.

Brunch in Eixample dreta - Granja Petitbo - Yogur with granola It has a vintage style, high ceilings, grandfather’s sofas, natural products and a high wooden ladder leaning on the wall, which holds magazines and newspapers. The Granja Petitbo offers all this and much more in the establishment situated in the corner of Carrer Aragó with Passeig Sant Joan in Eixample dreta.  They prepare brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, which includes: a main dish, coffee or tea and fresh juice. Among the fresh juices you can choose: • orange, • orange +apple +carrot, • kiwi +grape +apple, • apple +celery +cucumber +ginger, for the last two options you have to pay an extra euro. The main dish you choose is what determines the price. The cheapest option is a cold meat sandwich which costs 5€  but there are toasts with jam, yoghurt with granola and fruit, pancakes, poached eggs with bread roll and Iberian ham or salmon. The most expensive option is scrambled eggs with bacon, parmiggiano and pancakes, which costs 12,50€. From outside, the two large windows partially conceal the charm of this cosy place with a carefully chosen laid-back style. It does not seam to have opened very long ago, however there are already many people who are acquainted with this delicious brunch. Considering that they do not accept reservations, we recommend that you go early to ask for a table or be prepared to wait for a while. One thing is for sure, this place for brunch in Eixample dreta has to be in your route of brunching in Barcelona, you cannot miss out on this!
