Back to Borne we found another lovely place – El Atril – to enjoy a delicious brunch again. Besides a friendly service, you have the opportunity to sit inside the restaurant or at their calm terrace within the pedestrian area.
If you decide for the terrace you have 8 tables – in winter time only amonge the shades – on Placa Sant Cugat, but there are 2 tables more on the other side of the restauarant on Carrer Carders, where you can enjoy the sun at the moment from 11am to 3pm! The place inside has a rustic style with hard wood tables and a brick wall. The brunch that they offer is a menu for 11,80€, which includes a main dish, drink and dessert or coffee. Last Sunday we tried the •chicken club sandwich with egg, cheese and capsicum, the •spinach quiche with Spanish ham, gruyere and salad and the •multigrain bread with salmon, spinach, poached egg and salmon. For dessert we chose cheesecake, natilla and yogurt with honey. The dishes are well presented, with a good size portion and is nice to have the dessert included in the price.
